Collection of Silver Cutlery “Basket Weave” pattern. all monogramed: “AC” in gothic script. 18 dinner forks [8 ½”]; 18 dinner spoons [8 ½”]; 17 tea spoons [5 5/8”]; Soup ladle [13 ½”]. marked: “L. Cottat”. French hallmarks for .950 silver (mark used from 1838 onwards). [Paris: 1819-1838].

      18 dessert spoons, [7 3/8”]; 18 dessert forks [7 ¼”]. marked: “E*P” (Emile Puiforcat), Paris (makers mark used from 1857 onwards). French hallmarks for .950 silver. [Paris: post 1857].

      Together with 12 dinner knives [9 5/8”], 11 desert knives [8”].steel blades, silver caps and collars (unmarked), ivory handles, (knives not part of same pattern as forks and spoons).

      All combined in two, chamois-leather lined, oak-wood fitted boxes, with engraved brass plaques on the lids monogramed “ND”, having working locks and keys.
